SKYE Roofbar & Brasserie

Overview

SKYE Roofbar & Brasserie provides one of the most visually dramatic dining experiences in Causeway Bay, combining contemporary French-inspired cuisine with a rooftop bar and sweeping views across Hong Kong. Located on the 27th floor of The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection, SKYE overlooks Victoria Harbour, Victoria Park and the surrounding skyline, making its elevated setting fundamental to the restaurant’s identity.

The current culinary concept places a strong emphasis on approachable French classics presented within a cosmopolitan brasserie environment. The restaurant highlights dishes such as beef bourguignon and French onion soup alongside seafood, oysters and Kaviari caviar. Its wine programme includes more than 50 selections, giving the venue the flexibility to function as both a destination restaurant and an evening rooftop experience.

Sustainability also forms part of SKYE’s current positioning. The restaurant states that it uses responsibly sourced seafood and locally inspired ingredients, bringing environmental considerations into a concept traditionally associated primarily with views and nightlife.

The bar is equally important. An outdoor deck and illuminated bar create a strong day-to-night identity, with the atmosphere evolving from lunch and sunset dining into cocktails and later-evening socialising. The hotel describes the venue as an approximately 8,000-square-foot space incorporating an outdoor deck. Its cocktail programme also draws inspiration from Hong Kong, including creations referencing the city’s streets and the hotel’s own PL50 gin.

SKYE’s inclusion alongside Hong Kong’s established fine-dining restaurants is strengthened by its recognition as Asia’s Best New Hotel Restaurant 2025. That award gives it particular relevance within this selection, adding a contemporary hotel-restaurant winner to a list otherwise dominated by Michelin-level and internationally recognised standalone restaurants.

SKYE ultimately offers something different from the more formal tasting-menu destinations in the top 20: French-influenced food, cocktails, nightlife and one of Causeway Bay’s most striking elevated settings combined into a single experience.
